Everyone has them...those red, blue, yellow, and green crayons that every restaurant gives away. Lots of them. I suppose you could just leave them there to be thrown away, of course, but the recycling maniac in me won't let me. So...the tot and I recycled them ourselves! We peeled them and broke them into pieces, and put them in a mini muffin pan. 200 degrees for 5-10 mins was plenty to melt them down into little hockey puck crayons. They are easy for the tot to hold too. It's fun to add different colors to one cup, and then give them a swirl with a toothpick after they melt. I put them in the freezer to cool and they popped right out!
