Teacher gifts

At just 1 year old, the little gal has 7 teachers I wanted to give end of year gifts to!  One at toddler art class, 3 at MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), and 3 at gymnastics.  I wanted something homemade, but since I have to make 7, something easy!  I decided on these cloth journal covers.

I used regular old black and white composition books (which, btw, are much cheaper during the summer!) and a handful of fat quarters and other small pieces of fabric.  I used the Reversible Journal Cover pattern from Kirin Notebook.

Aren't they pretty?  I should have made one for myself!
