Cut a section from your knit material or old t-shirt measuring 15 1/2 inches by 2 1/4 inches. Make sure the stretch of the material goes the long way across your piece.
Fold the piece in half, right sides together, and sew using a 3/8 in. seam.
Iron the seam open, and then fold the piece in half (wrong sides together) so you have a circle and iron. I loop the piece around the end of my mini ironing board.
Mark the half way mark (across from your seam) and both ends so you have 4 marks equally spaced apart. Mark around the hole in your towel as well.
Match the marks and pin.
Ta-da! It's finished! Now find a toddler and give it a try.
